I'm experiencing a bug where Regina Jones's quests are not properly completing. At first I though maybe there was more to the quests and she'd call back later. It's only after approaching some of her other missions that instead of getting the usual introductory quest information, she would call about completing one of those past quests, granting me money and experience. Despite this I noticed those completed quests are still stuck in my journal and I don't get any information on the new mission I had approached.

Are you sure you're not supposed to call / message her about the quest to finish it? I've seen similar behaviour with other fixers when straying near one of their gigs having not replied to a message or called them about finishing the last one. I suspect getting close to the gig simply triggers a call with the fixer, and if you've a pending call (like you would if you completed a gig) it overwrites the briefing they should be giving you.

No, it recently happened on a quest to rescue a BD editor named Hal from a cyberphycho Mox, there's another Mox upstairs in a room bleeding out who kinda gets ignored. Anyways, once I rescued him and we went outside, nothing happened. I went to go do another one of Regina's quests and as I got near it I didn't get the usual call detailing the new quest. Instead she called congradulating me about saving Hal, I was credited eddies and street cred. No other calls about the new quest I was near occured, and the Rescue Hal quest was permanently stuck in my journal.

Yeah just got the same bug today. It went even beyond for me, and now at a start of a new Regina's mission, I get a call that should have started a previous mission that I have already finished, so I am even more behind on money and experience. I play thorugh GOG, tried to verify game files. It downloaded and fixed 26 mb of files, but it didn't help. Bugs, man...

Exactly same for me. I am doing all side quests on second run and this is ruining my experience, because I don't have proper information about current quest and my quests are stucked in jurnal even they have been already completed without experiences and reputation. Please fix it as possible. I would like to hear that it will be fixed in way that I won't have to start a new game, but it will be directly fixed into the current save.

I've been dealing with this too (I think pre-dating v1.04), as a result 'Hippocratic Oath' is going to be permanently on my side quest log because I completed it thinking it was a different task and now can't close it out. Basically the information Regina calls with whenever i arrive at a new location is tied to a previous job location.
My workaround (to avoid losing out on rewards) is go to a location - the HUD will pop information about the quest in that location, but Regina will call with info for something else. Ignore the HUD's instructions and open Regina's message and select 'Track Job' and the location of what she's talking about so then I go there to do the job so I receive the rewards.
Suck that it's so broken, but honestly happy it isn't just me.

Here's what you need to do ...

Call, msg, read shard, or check Journal. Even if you read "it" when you find "it", you still need to read them in the shard/journal listy thingies, but only sometimes - or not. You have to do all this (or perhaps just some of it periodically), but sometimes just do nothing at all .. annnnd, the msgs still may go out of order, don't list til later or don't seem to show up because it doesn't feel like it . It might just plain work too. Then periodically, or sooner, you need to click the little map picture on the right. Regina likes that.

I hope that cleared it all up :p

It's all so very random certain quests breaking because the player looked or stood near a door or NPC farted and the player didn't acknowledge it.


Just a Broken game that needs more time.....

Happened again after posting - the Ritual/Cyberpsycho quest is now lost to the void as well.

My plan now is literally to drive around to all the exclamation points in Watson to initiate/get the info for all of the open quests so they're in the log and I have the appropriate messages/calls from Regina, and then go back and do them.

Possible good news - I just picked up a quest from another Fixer in another part of town and so far that's worked fine. So knock on wood it's just Regina being disorganized.

Nah, it's something deeper than just Regina's quests being bugged. I had to start a new game, because El Padre's quests got borked in the same way, and it cascaded into other gigs; so it probably has something to do with how quests are coded.
