Until two days ago, I could play Cyberpunk without any problems. Since then, the game crashes in the launch and gives a GPU crash for unknown reason. There is also a strange noise coming from the graphics card while the game is launching. However, this only happens with Cyberpunk, all other demanding games like Call of Duty and many more work without problems on high settings with RayTracing, only Cyberpunk crashes.

Already done:
Cleanly uninstalled and reinstalled Cyberpunk several times
Gog reinstalled
Previous GPU driver cleanly reinstalled
DirectX checked, everything works

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Nvidia RTX 3070

What can I do? Does anyone know the problem and can help me? Thanks a lot in advance.

Alright, Alright.. after several days of struggle I got the hint to turn off the gog In-Game Overlay, and the game run a bit longer before crashing. Afterwards I disabled the Nvidia In-Game Overlay of the GeForce Experience and Panam looks as beautiful as always. Cheers to myself and hopefully it helps some Choombas out there.

I have exact same setup, it was working fine before i decided to delete my game from hdd to nvme. Since then it can't go past CDPR logo and has no sound. It worked once, just after updating my windows, when i tried to play it again it ends up crashing like it did before. Anything anyone? I already disabled every overlay, reinstalled the game 3 times etc with no luck

Maybe the NVIDIA in-game overlay is conflicting with the GOG overlay or something?

There are some Steam games like Jedi: Fallen Order that require EA's Launcher to run in the background, thus having both Steam overlay and EA launcher overlay in the same game, and iirc I think I saw some people saying they were disabling the EA overlay to make some aspect of the game they got on Steam work. So maybe that's the same thing...? Different overlays not compatible or something?
