So I did a new play through specifically to tackle the secret ending and after 70 hours or so I felt confident I could do it. I died fast but that was to be expected on the first try, Problem is there was no safe game created upon entering the arasaka lobby so now I would have to do the whole Vic and Misty Scene again and then the waiting game with Johnny. What a mess. This must have been introduced with a patch this year, last year there was one autosafe right before to hardcore section, so you could jump right back into the action. Anyone else encounter this bug?

Personally, I've always had to start the whole section over (which I thought was by design).

Then again, I can't remember which patch I was on by the time I did that ending... Post-launch, the patches tended to come pretty fast...
