I have played around 20 hours, just would like to share my opinions to CDPR for making the game better (as these are also my expectations for later game fix).
BUG FIXES (Based on PC version, GPU is GTX 1080, Patch 1.04)
1. The car music sometimes does not play, sometimes it happens when I enter the Inventory system and exit.
2. The mini map GPS sometimes won't show if I exit some no-signal areas.
3. (Not a bug) The symbols of places where you can jack in for the mini puzzle games looks too similar (both colors are red) as those vending machines.
4. Bald head in the mirror.
- It seems can be reproduced by wearing a hat and looking at the mirror.
5. Wearing pants when actually nude.
- It can be reproduced by moving the camera toward the feet when the character is nude.
6. No facial expressions work in the mirror.
7. NPCs (main storyline) have no facial expression, no lips moving during conversations.
8. The data of items in the inventory system sometimes got messed up with the new item I am trying to comparing to.
EX: I equip weapon A,
looking at weapon B,
seeing both weapon A and B's data. Then
when I look at weapon C and trying to compare with weapon A,
either weapon A or weapon C will have the data of weapon B.
9. Enemies won't shoot bullets during the car fight tutorial.
10. No guns on the hand when I am actually equipping the gun.
11. Jackie has 4 chop sticks during the scene when you meet him in the early stage.
Update for bug fixes (Up to the beginning of Chapter 2):
12. (High Priority bug) Johnny Silverhand story has a blackout (The light doesn't work) when the boss speaks to him. Johnny Silverhand was tied up on the chair at that moment.
13. (High Priority bug) The gun from Jackie's hand was not binding to the hand joint correctly, so when he dies, the gun is stuck inside his head (It supposed to be a sad moment, but this gun just makes me laugh out loud).
14. It turns out that all the current car gun fights have bugs, such as
- Guns are not shown on the character's hands;
- Enemies do not shoot.
15. Inventory system bugs:
- At the storage box in the house, the weapons do not show any information, all DPS = 0, no descriptions, etc.
- You can deposit your equipped items into the storage box directly, don't know if this is intentional, but it's definitely not user-friendly.
- (New Features needed) Allow players to lock their favorite weapons like Borderland 3 does. It's VERY important because players can accidentally throw the weapons they want to keep.
- Sorting in the storage box is buggy, for example,
- Sorting by DPS in descending order is not working, the first weapon is not the one with highest DPS.
16. Equipping clothes doesn't immediately display onto the character's body at the inventory system.
I need to unequip every piece of clothes, and then re-equip them again in order to NOT reproduce this bug.
NEW FEATURES (If they really come true, since the game right now is pretty empty, like playing borderland 3 with no sense of exploration about Night City, because it is empty except missions):
1. I haven't checked yet, but it's on my mind, showing the parts where you have upgraded/modified on your body.
It seems unnecessary, as the player has the majority of time in a First-Person view, but because the game can allow the character to be nude, it's even better to be able to see the modified body.
2. Adding restaurants customer services for every NPC on the map.
- Add animations for drinking liquors (It's already there, just reuse it).
- Add new animations for eating, drinking, giving tips, threatening, etc.
3. Running on the top of the building.
4. Airplanes.
- You can drive airplanes.
- You can fight on the airplanes.
5. Metros.
- You can fight inside the metro station, and metros.
- You can ride metros.
- You can drive metros.
- You can walk on the metro rails.
6. Pedestrians NPCs are able to
- fight back,
- calling cops,
- calling gangsters for help (they pay them for living safely).
7. All main story's locations can be revisited.
8. All locked buildings can be open for exploration.
9. NPCs can steal your money by hijacking you sometimes.
- Then the gameplay side is to scan for the target that steals your money,
either beat the target up and hijack the target back or
threaten the NPCs to help you later, or similar events.
- If you have a fight in the future, just somehow spawn the NPC from the camera behind, then
- fight with you, or
- calling cops for you.
10. Internet security highest priority.
- The character can start some sort of activities ONLY on the internet, just reuse the map the game already has to prevent more works.
11. Some other daily environment events to make the game more lively:
- Fishing (bomb fish, electrify fish, etc.)
- Adult activities.
- Olympics (In a no rules way).
- Kidnapping.
- Helping NPCs (gangsters included) to do illegal things.
- Hijacking police stations, etc.
- Hiking.
12. Become somebody.
- celebrity.
- drug lord.
- Internet Admin.
- champion of some events (like the boxing event).
NOTE: Potentially affecting the main storyline.
13. Finding humanoid robot event.
14. Prevent aliens filtering into the society, stating aliens exist, but act like a human/humanoid.
NOTE:
After finishing chapter 1, I don't know if the above new suggested features can be applicable, because still, this is a RPG game, not an open-world sandbox game. But, my expectation (maybe for most players too) is that Cyberpunk 2077 should be a long-run game like Witcher 3 and GTA5, the game should contain enough features to allow players to "live" in this world. However, as far as I know, it is not designed as it supposed to be. I just hope the gameplay features can be improved for not wasting such an excellent art design and effort about building up this Night City.
