Recently they released more PC specs for this game. 1440p, 2160p and DXR. But again no target fps.

Looks like you need 2080ti / 3070 to go full Raytracing. Pretty much as expected. 1080p/1440p Ultra / Low RT for me it is.

Well, looks like I'll have to wait to upgrade from 2080ti to 3080. Every card I can find for sale are being sold by scalpers who want a $500 bump per card over retail. Damned vultures.

This is ridiculous. You will be running it just fine with this card at maximum settings. Believe me.

Well, expect if you are targeting 4K, maybe. Try it on day one and see for yourself. Don't be too fast with buying a new card, especially with these prices... and that amount of VRAM.

Oh I plan to. Issue is I have a 32" 4k monitor and had hoped to use it to it's fullest w/ CP 2077. Another problem I see with trying to upgrade the video card is that they are implementing pcie-4 and the Z490 chipset hasn't made significant market penetration yet. If I drop a few frames that you could only catch if you were monitoring the framerate I'll run it full out anyway.

Guys how many FPS will i get with RTX 2060

We do not know the target fps, your resolution, DXR on/off, ingame graphic settings.
If target fps from the pic is 60 then i think the 2060 is good for 1080p maxed out 60fps or higher and 1440p ultra settings 40-60 fps ? Not sure.
But with DLSS you can gain your fps.

I would totally hold off on any hardware upgrades. if recent history has given us a view into anything, it could be March til we get a "release date". Then, we'd be into the next gen of hardware.

I am not purchasing anything until i see how it plays on my present set-up.

I presume that the low and recommended specs are for 30 fps. The game would have to be extremely good optimized to work on this hardware in 60 fps. But maybe we'll see a surprise, who knows...

Just found a old pic from 2018, the pic shows the ingame settings. Maybe we get 1 more graphics preset.
As you can see, one more setting is available higher than Ultra.
We'll see if it is added to the final version.
