Many people tell me that apparently CP2077 is all about deviant sexuality, not about computers in a techno dystopian future, but If you could make it activism and pandering free, how would you design the character creation screen so that it would still include deviant modifications?

Even before all this upset with CDPR activism being set upon us, I was thinking how I would do things. So here's two ways I thought of:

1. No deviant variations of your character at the CCS (character creation screen), but you would have the ability to customize your character to your hearts content once you earn enough credits in the game. "Game plus" mode would of course allow you to carry over your character with all these modifications. This follows the logic that full body deviant modifications are rare due to how expensive they are and the social stigma and other penalties they carry.

2. An optional, separate page in the CCS for deviant modifications that would auto-calculate and display the penalties imposed on you if you decided to choose those modifications (humanity loss, social stigma etc.). This could add an interesting story line penalty where you have an outstanding debt with whoever lent you the credits to make those customizations, and/or (much) worse relations with all those (most?) factions that are not accepting of such modifications. This would in turn limit your story line choices, compared to the regular gameplay, but could make for an interesting and challenging playthrough. Of course deviant body modifications would still be available during gameplay in case someone wanted to mix and match differently (and could still afford further humanity loss points).

My thinking behind these two versions is simple, the more primitive a culture is and the more pressing the day to day is, the more pragmatic and intolerant a society is of extremes. So I see the CP (Cyberpunk) society either treat deviant (relative to normal western culture) behaviour as acceptable and collapse onto itself (either literally implode into nothingness or become tech-less savages) in short order due to non-pragmatic/unrealistic standards, or see the rise of very violent factions which would eliminate all deviants (whatever they decide to be deviant) with extreme prejudice.

So, how does your version of the CCS look like?

*ahem* Ok, here goes:
"Wow, triggered much, snowflake? If you don't like the game, just don't play it!!!!!one You should harden up and not be so thin-skinned! Make your own games"

Any of that sound familiar?
Keep posting, you're making your cause more and more credible xD

Sometimes the hypertrophied reaction of the homosexual community causes me pity, but then I remember that homo-nazi are ready to mix with the dirt all who do not accept their views - and pity leaves.
I hope you choke on your hatred.

I don't care as long as a male character is called a man and female - a woman.

And if there will be romance options for different kinds of sexuality, I would like to have "likes men" and "likes women" checkboxes. So I could check the one I like and don't be constantly worried that my male character would have to sleep with another man if being too polite.

Why are you are so angry all the time? It's really bad for your health, you know? Both physical and mental. Praying helps, you should try it. Look up "silent prayer".

It does sound familiar, it's what you write in almost every other post on this forum. Here is a quote, just for you:

Anger ruins joy
steals the goodness of my mind
forces my mouth to say terrible things
overcoming anger brings peace of mind
leads to a mind without regret
if I overcome anger I will be delightful
and loved by everyone

Fair enough, thanks for the feedback.

That's a good idea! :D A friend and I had this happen in two games and it really ruins the experience. Sometimes choices you made earlier inevitably lead to a certain "romantic conclusion" and if you then want to avoid it you have to load an old save (if you have it!) and replay things again. Made me quit a playthrough once because I had no save that was old enough. :(

And that's Bioware, even old Bioware, in a nutshell xD

Romance scenes should always have an option to cancel at the last minute, just like in real life, even if it leads to a cutscene in which your character makes an awkward escape (though preferably give the player agency to control the scene, of course) or if it has consequences of straining your relationship with companions or creating enemies out to get you.

This has been Spirit Monk Revan, and this is my favourite forum on GOG. Report back to the Grey Wardens -- We'll bang, okay?

Agreed, would be nice to have a few more options and consequences for them. The awkward escape option plays as this scene in my mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FPELc1wEvk
