Berzerk2k2: Duke is not working for 3D Realms anymore. He's now Randy Pitchford's bitch which means we'll never see a Duke game here until Gearbox loses the license.
Unless Gearbox are invited to the party and have a change of heart about GOG etc ... or maybe talked into it by others at the party. Never say never. But don't hold your breath waiting either.

I'm actually more interested in the expansions for the Duke, as I have Duke on disc and Duke at ZOOM Platform and even the remastered Duke at Steam.

Aside from the free addon back in the day, that constitutes the Atomic Edition, I missed out on the other expansions ... at least legally.

Personally I'm interested in some of the games that will be present on the event. I'm waiting for the final release of Wrath: Aeon of Ruin. Also Graven is on my scope. Ion Fury still sits in my wishlist. It's not a priority, but it'll be good to see some additional content for this game as well. It'll be an interesting event for sure!

This is a mistake. You're missing out on one of the best fps games available here. Buy it.

Timboli: Be nice if this meant we would soon be seeing some more 3D Realms stuff at GOG, especially old classics like Duke Nukem and expansions.

Duke being a bitch, we've come full circle

I’ll seriously consider buying it during the next sale. :) Wrath: Aeon of Ruin is more in my liking when it comes to atmosphere however. I never was a big fan of Duke Nukem 3D engine aesthetic. It’s quite specific.

I won't hold my breath though.

Until then, you can get some Duke Nukem at least, at the ZOOM Platform ... pretty much what used to be available here at GOG, and still DRM-Free.
Ask THQ and/or Gearbox, but forget about 3D Realms unless THQ buys them as well.
You forgot TOTALLY that Duke Nukem is a GEARBOX game...

FulVal: You forgot TOTALLY that Duke Nukem is a GEARBOX game...
If that was to me, then you are TOTALLY wrong.

I knew that before I made my first post, and there is plenty of evidence at the forum that I know about the Gearbox situation. Just look at the older ZOOM Platform thread for starters.

Add to that the fact I mentioned in my first post - I won't hold my breath though. That was due to Gearbox etc, even if I did not spell it all out.

And the fact will always remain, that Duke Nukem was and always will be a 3D Realms game, despite who owns it since. And they will always have a vested interest in the Duke, and perhaps have some influence ... one can hope.

P.S. And like anyone who loves the Duke games, I have certainly done my research, and wondered why so unavailable, and bought what is available, except for the last game, which I have read described as an abomination. I'd probably still buy that, just to have it, if cheap enough.
Reminder that day 1 (of 3) of this is going to kick off later today (7pm CEST / 10am PDT), on the 3D Realms Twitch channel.
the event thingy is live on Steam now as well - https://store.steampowered.com/sale/RealmsDeep2021

Really good deal on some games here, and if you especially like FPS games it is worth checking out.

edit - i should also mention that there is a metric shit-ton of demos on that page as well.
