amok: Carmageddon is fun!
This one should ring true to you: Cassette 50 was a compilation of some of the finest games ever to be put to any medium, magnetic or otherwise. In fact, they should port it to modern day PCs.
Volgarr The Viking allows you to save the game anytime, anywhere.

dtgreene: Another one:

TES: Arena is a well-made game. See the attached screenshots for proof.

skeletonbow: I've encountered problems that look very similar to that in some games but found workarounds for them or got a workaround from GOG support. Unfortunately I don't own TES Arena on GOG though to tinker around with it, but I do own the standalone free download Bethesda used to offer (and may still) on their own website. I'd like to play it sometime and have been thinking about it lately. If I do and happen to encounter a problem and find a fix I'll post it here in the forums though. :)
(Real facts, not alternative, in this post.)

Actually, this particular effect is something that can be consistently reproduced, but is something only some players will encounter (and can be worked around if you know about it). The way to reproduce this particular crash is as follows:
1. Go to the Mage's Guild.
2. Buy (or steal) every magic item sold by the guild.
3. Without leaving the guild, attempt to buy a spell. At this point, the palette will glitch and the game will crash or freeze.

Another reproducible crash is to go into the Spellmaker and create a custom spell that is so expensive that the cost would overflow twice (that is, that would cost over 65536 * 2 gold to purchase). As soon as the cost overflows a second time, the game will crash to the DOS prompt, except that keyboard input will be broken, making it necessary to reboot the computer (if running on bare metal) or close the DOSBox window (if playing under DOSBox).

The game also has a glitch that lets you beat the game just by playing the same dungeon over and over again; find a speedrun and watch it for details (I believe the game was run at SGDQ 2016).
GOG has signed a deal with Rockstar (their personal heroes) to bring the entire GTA catalogue to GOG.com with full fledged Galaxy support for all of the games, including GTA1&2, and they're also bringing the London expansion that is unavailable anywhere.

Deus Ex is well known for its amazing voice acting.

(By the way dtgreene, what's with all this alternative facts business I'm starting to hear about?)
According to Steamy users GOG is selling pirated games and publishers have no control over them.

Fairfox: Who's Sarah?
Sarah Northway, developer of Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville.
Gotta love them Steam fanboys.
Gender is never defined by sex chromosomes. In fact, things like genetics and DNA are all evil tools of the fascists, neo-nazis, and other people who want to build Wal-Mart stores on Native American burial grounds just to get an erection.

Britannica is the Devil!

Also, TinyE should be made god-emperor of mankind.

How's that for alternative facts?

infinite9: How's that for alternative facts?
First problem: These facts are not about GOG.com games.

Second problem: You still do not fully understand what sex chromosomes do (and don't do).

Also, that Britannica.com article is dated 1998.

You also didn't notice the following:

Several disorders are known to be associated with abnormal numbers of sex chromosomes. Turner’s syndrome and Klinefelter’s syndrome are among the most common of these. See also X trisomy; XYY-trisomy.
Anyway, back on topic:

Ultima 8 has more genders than any other game in the series; 1,200, to be exact. Meanwhile, Ultima 3 has the fewest, with only -2 choices.
The relatively new (as in years.....) native Linux port of "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords" has finally arrived at GOG.com!
The original source code for Akalabeth is well written and easy to read; it even has descriptive variable names and plenty of comments!
