This one should be super distinctive
2d platform shooting game I played a demo / had a shareware version of
You had a selection of copyright infringing main characters to choose from
I think only Ash from the walking dead was available but, I want to say, Terminator and Robocop could be unlocked

The idea of the game was to rescue, maybe sausage looking people who happened to be strapped to something flammable, in one level it was the kind of grill you get in a kebab house

Stay bullets would ignite them and they would say "Oh no, I'm on Fire' in a sad, resigned, maybe Brummy accent and once on fire you could no longer rescue them for.. bonus points?

About 80% sure it WAS PC and not Amiga anyway...

No would have been much earlier - late 90's / early 2000's maybe
Thanks though

I'm positive that that game was looked for (and found) in another "Help me find this game"- thread.
But I can't remember the name of the game itself nor the exact thread title. shrug

Hope it wasn't me who started it! If it was it must have been about 10 years ago - having to remind me every decade or so isn't THAT bad, right?
Did an advanced Google search because that works better than the forums own search functions, sadly and it turned out that I HAD asked about this one before!
...buut no-one could remember it then either!

I was excited but a little embarrassed that I'd been told before then but now disappointed but a little relieved!
