Hello

I was looking at the saints row website, more specifically the obituary section which I assume are characters killed off in previous games, and I noticed a Carlos Mendoza. I remembered this name from a-team tv series and sure enough in season 4 episode 22, Murdock pretends to be a person called Carlos Mendoza. Considering saints row pokes fun at all sorts of things, you don't think these two are connected do you? I mean it is a pretty vague reference and I couldn't really find anyone obvious it could be on Google.
