No longer besmirched with a dreadful PEGI 18+ rating, the solitaire deckbuilder (that incidentally uses card hands as a primary scoring method) has been given a much more sensible rating, especially when there's nary a drop of gambling involved.

Unlike EA's Football Club or the FIFA games, which have actual damn gambling in them.

Maybe this'll convince GOG to actually get the thang ding onto the store here.

The obvious hypocrisy of the ratings boards has been going on for so long now it elicits a yawn at most. As mentioned, actual gambling regularly gets slapped with a 3+ for some strange reason (*winkwink*) while benign games get ludicrously high ratings for basically nothing.

LocalThunk appears to be a Genuinely Cool Person who doesn't want the game to be used for gambling or other misdeeds.

GOG peddles porn. Pretty sure an 18+ rating wasn't stopping Balatro from coming here.
