As title says.
In the storepage of the non-deluxe edition it clearly states you need the Baldurs Gate Enhanced edition to play,. but that is lacking in the deluxe edition.
Is this a miss on a GoG worker or does it stand on it's own feet?

It needs the base game and it is mentioned in the store page, albeit with a teeny-tiny print.
