I wanna give a 80 year old some casuals for her birthsday! So, any recommendations? She suck at english, so HOG is out, but I was thinking maybe some Mahjong, or maybe something from Big Fish Games.

Also, I don't want to bother her with that stupid Steam client, so DRM free only!
Well to give a useful answer, we really would need to know a bit more about the person than 80 years old.
Someone who knows about computers? Someone who can use mouse and graphical interfaces with no problems? Or someone who is just learning to use computers?

And Big Fish games is like Steam, you need to have a client, so that's not an alternative.

But just to give a random answer anyway, "Thieves and Kings" card game.
Not available in any stores AFAIK, but it at least used to be available for purchase straight from the creator.

Well, she's not a geek, but she hangs out on facebook a lot, so she can do the basic point'n click. But I think I'll aim for something turn-based - I don't think she's into fast-paced stuff.

Bummer. Thanks for the heads-up!

Both Minesweeper and Mastermind? Nice!
My all time favourite casual game:

PySolFC.

Match-3 games like Fishdom are relaxing time wasters - but I don't know where to get them DRMfree, perhaps GamersGate.
I enjoy Point & Click games.
GOG has even some games in Danish: https://www.gog.com/games/adventure?language=da&sort=bestselling&page=1
As far as I remember you don't need any language for many P&C games - just the UI is in English.
Try the Amanita Games .

And please don't underestimate us old gamers. ;)

DRM free only!
Pick one.

Edit: I see I was already ninja'd about this. My bad.

World of Goo might work, it's pretty casual and doesn't require much reading.

If she used to play pinball in her youth, there is a slew of them on here; yes, they are action oriented, but older people can usually do ok with such things provided they already mastered them back when they were young.

Other than that, perhaps some simple puzzle game?
