Themken: Dream GPU: RTX 4070
I would like it too, but here on Amazon the price for it is 700-1100€.. -_-
Just testing micro SD cards, with 80MB+ Read, most (GOG`s) games can be played from these mediums giving extra speed and free space on the system drive, you can take your (carefully installed) game to play on another machine, or store it as a backup drive (original ones are hard to break)

256GB and 512GB microSDXC have the best value, 1TB is often dearer than two 512GB, and there are NO 2TB microsd cards in public sale.

Attaching symbols descriptions,
and MicroSD cards when placed in the USB original adapter turn to a memory stick with the same speed.

WinterSnowfall: If you're looking for a bargain, the 3060 is also quite a capable card for 1080p (and currently no.1 in the, ehmn... hot water vapor hardware survey). If performance is not satisfactory,
The RX 6650XT and lower from AMD and RTX 3060 (12GB version) and lower from Nvida are too weak at ray tracing to my taste but Intel's Arc A750 is a sliver better while costing quite a bit less. Not really the RT and 'normal' performance I would like but the price is amazingly low while still being an upgrade. The RTX 3060 is just much too expensive here at over €300 and around that or less I can get more powerful models.

Crazy how different prices are between countries even if you remove all taxes. Customs duties, tiny market, which probably will stay tiny if hardware prices are sky high, cartels.
I do like to be mobile, so when it comes to buying hardware unfortunately I'm stuck with laptops.
I usually was a guy happy with NVIDIA XX70 offerings. But 4070 laptops are terrible, atleast in my opinion the asking price of aprox. 1500-1600 euros for a 128bit but wide card with 8GB is way too much.
Black Friday in Romania was set up to be on 10th of November and SONY came with the best deal for me so instead of spending a truck of money on a laptop Black Friday bought me an PS5 C-Chassis Disc Edition at 400 euros.

Intel's Alchemist dgpus are quite competent in hardware, but unfortunately the drivers are very iffy and a hodge-poge of stitched-together solutions at best, hence the "good deals". They're really collecting dust on shelves at this point, so any possible incentive to sell them has been applied.

You won't get much RT out of the €300 price point anyway, just to be fair.

There's that as well, indeed.

Themken: Sometimes I pity the rich.
Maybe you should pity the middle class... people who have to think about what they will and won't buy, and silly things like standards and quality and production value. Us poor folks don't bother thinking about any of that. We know we can't afford anything anyways, and even if we somehow could, we'd only have the one choice.

Themken: What gaming related hardware will you buy?
Not gaming*only*:
Parts for a new Ryzen9 7900x system. I'll be reusing my old RTX3060Ti and a few hard drives.
The old i7 6700 PC will replace my DAW laptop.

I ordered from different Amazon stores and saved around 200 euro in total.

I pity the rich the exact same amount that they pity the rest of us. Which is to say I NEVER pity the rich.
Oh my, for some of the better deals you need to be quick it seems. Sold out sold out, hopefully that means a bunch of happy gamers.
