Well, if Turn Creature would cause its target to turn around once, Improved Turn Creature causes its target to turn around twice. As a result, once the spell finishes, I am in the same state I was before.

I cast the spell Chance from the Dragon Quest/Warrior series. (This spell is called "Hocus Pocus" in modern Dragon Quest translations and パルプンテ in the untranslated Japanese games. Its effect is random.)

I had spent years creating a machine that allowed me to sway the national lottery draw. I was all set up to become a millionaire, when your spell had a random effect - my machine was overpowered and each number had an equal chance of being returned. My numbers did not come up.

I vent my frustration with a charm of doubt.

I cast the Dreamspell (from Bard's Tale 2).

I feel like my life is a warzone due to chronic pain, and in combat, the Dreamspell will do the following:

Turn all illusionary monsters to "real"
Cast Heal All and cure any conditions except aging

Hooray!
I'm finally healed! And my chronic pain is now an ugly slug (because it turned the illusionary monster of my pain into a real creature).

So, I step on it and kill it.


I cast a spell of gratitude, which grants the next user their heart's desire.

As it turns out, my heart's greatest desire was to be freed from all its excessive cholesterol, so thank you for saving it and me from some very expensive and rather risky surgery.

As a thank you, I'll let the next poster find a different kind of heart's desire, with Summon Familiar.

There's nothing familiar to me; everything is unfamiliar. As a result, the spell does nothing.

Actually, on second thought, math and science is familiar, so the spell ends up summoning Schrodinger's Cat. Unfortunately, it is not clear whether the cat arrived dead or alive, as it arrived inside a box that I have declined to open, as I don't like cats.

I get attacked by a pack of Schrödinger's Cats who don't know if they're alive or dead. I spend the evening discussing with them life, the universe and all the rest.

After that, I'm so tired, that I only manage to feebly wave my magic wand and utter:

There seem to be no spells pending, so I cast Armageddon (from Ultima 6/7).

After leaving my underground fallout bunker I see the entire world is devoid of life.
I cast give life.

I cast Reverse Time.

I prevent you from casting armageddon and save the world.
I cast peace time.

Oops! It seems you accidentally cast Piece Time, which sounds very similar. As a result, the timeline has been broken into little pieces, and we are currently near the end of one of them.

I cast Control Undead on the next user.

My soul is made empty, then wrenched from my body, and I suddenly find the way out of the maze I'd been trapped in! My victory is as hollow as my zombified animate corpse.

dtgreene takes control of me, and makes me form a music-hall double act with the corpse of charlie chaplain. There is much controversy and the show is deemed "offensive"
