You happened to catch me while I was wearing a Reflect Ring, therefore the spell is reflected and causes you to start floating instead.

I declare myself user number X.5 where X is equal to number previous users so Fireball spell will not work on me but on next full user (x+1) and cast UFO pattern flight on next user so these two spells should work as combo. :)

In trying to declare yourself as user number X.5, you inadvertently triggered the SQL injection in the spell name, so while the Fireball didn't work on you, you still lost all of your spells; therefore, you are unable to cast UFO pattern flight and your attempt to cast it failed. (You can't cast a spell you don't know.)
