IronArcturus: Is there a way to change the player name in BallisticNG? Right now the game just defaults to "Player." I checked the game folder and edited the ...BallisticNG\User\Config\Ini\preferences.ini file, but the player's name still defaults to Player. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, BallisticNG needs to have its own forum. I checked the URL: https://www.gog.com/forum/ballisticng but it just 404's.

maxpoweruser: I'm betting that that version uses your Steam username as your player name, and that this is a feature unique to the new GOG build...

Vonsnake: Currently there's no way to change it, Player is a fallback for when the game hasn't intialized Steamworks. The setting you see in the preferences ini file is for multiplayer.

Thanks for posting about it because I had completely forgot! I'll address this in a future update by moving the multiplayer name to a general option, and also have the game pull a profile image in from a PNG file you can set so it's not just a white square.
