Hello everyone.
Today I played Crosscode on my desktop PC for a couple hours; when I finished, it synced as always and was all good.
Now I opened my laptop, launched GOG, waited for Crosscode to sync saves (as I already did other times before) and when it finished I launched it. Then I noticed that I was playing on an older save and I believe GOG uploaded this older save in the cloud.
Is there a way to recover previous cloud saves/ask GOG custom service to do so?
It was just like 3 hours of difference, but it would be pretty annoyng to grind again.
Also, I can't access my desktop until next Friday (as I'm away for work).
Thanks in advance

when you go back to work disconnect Galaxy from the internet and play the save game you had i.e, disable sync then load the save, then make a new save and THEN reinable sync

never assume Gog gives a fuck about its gamers and never assume computers 'think'

gudz: Also, I can't access my desktop until next Friday (as I'm away for work).
If I understood correctly, your desktop still has the save with the 3 hours of progress. I'm afraid that's your best bet. Before starting GOG Galaxy again on that computer, backup the local save folder, %LocalAppData%\CrossCode\

Support tends to be quite slow. Even if you get a response before you can get to your desktop, I don't know if they can provide you with an older cloud save. As you can see, users don't have access to any cloud save management; you can only download a backup copy of the current cloud save.
Thank you very much, both of you.
Guess I'll just backup my local saves and disable autosyn
You can certainly try opening a support ticket for this regardless (tell the chatbot the issue is of type "other" twice). I've just never heard anyone on the forum report back whether support can retrieve old cloud saves.
