i want to use this gog more. i like to activate my games on here so i can just play my games i own on here. so can i? i know my keys.

If you own The Witcher and The Witcher 2 on Steam then I do believe so, otherwise I'm afraid that the answer is no.
Don't feel too bad though, GOG generally has a lot of sales with very deep discounts, and many GOG games offer extras that usually aren't available on Steam like soundtracks (often in high def format like FLAC), wallpapers, etc, so rebuying them isn't quite so painful.

generally steam and gog codes are independant. however i believe there are a few games reclaimable.
1) on the homepage, at the bottom, there is "reclaim your game" for some titles.
2) witcher backups previously mentioned
generally steam wants all your business and gog wants all your business.
