Johnathanamz: People on gog.com don't care much at all for collecting cards or making badges.
Don't forget achievements...
Being a false item and collection of digital trophies really is useless.
'I beat the dragon boss in less than 5 minutes' doesn't really mean much in the long (
or short) term. it's fluff that's expensive, and otherwise pointless.
Without a doubt there will be games with achievements built in though. Drox and Din's Curse are two examples I know of for sure that provide them. Ring Runner has achievements but those have rewards in the form of plex that you can use in-game to get more parts for your ships, plus it lets you know how you did with a number of stages, but getting everything is complex if not impossible.
I'd rather there isn't cards, or achievements, badges, or any other collectables or trading involved. While they are all fine ideas, they are pushed to ludicrous levels that just isn't worth it.
