Update: Dry Drowning demo is now available. You can download it here.

Dry Drowning is coming soon, DRM-free.

Dry Drowning is an investigative thriller-oriented visual novel set in the futuristic dystopian universe of Nova Polemos.

A shady socio-political situation dragging everything down to the abyss, a serial killer drawing strength from this darkness, a tormented detective and his assistant craving for redemption.

Dry Drowning challenges the player to find the truth, going through ambiguous characters, riddles, clues and unexpected events, while telling an extremely compelling and mature story.

Thanks for making a demo. It shows that you really believe in your work. All the best of luck with this title.
In case it helps, there is a typo in the video (01:03): "The text on the mirror leads to belive that he was recreating the myth of PRometheus."

The LIving Nightmare system seems intriguing! Also, what seems to be the interface for moving around the city looks neat.

The animal heads remind of Stephen King. Mordred, well, is not a paladin's name. It hints at dark paths that might be taken, inadvertently or not.

Lots of promise for those who like noir and sugarless coffee. Will be checking the demo soon.
I just started the demo and I'd like to ask/tell a few words:

- The demo starts in 720p without any possibility to change resolution before you have seen the introduction movie (in said 720p) without any subitles at all. That's already a bad start imo.

- While I really do enjoy the artstyle and music the mouse curor being so big and animated is extremely distracting.

Please add some options here. Thank you. I will now try to dig deeper to see if the demo to for my liking.

Hi guys, thank you for all your precious feedbacks! We're currently working on the release build, that will be available on the 2nd of august with an awesome artbook that is an exclusive of gog.com!

The issue that came out about the windowed initial video is a demo thing, and it's not present in the release version of the game!

Please keep on sharing your thoughts about the game, we can't wait to see what you think about it :)
The trailer reminds me of The Cat Lady. Should it do that?

I think I got this mixed up with The Sinking City. Both look good.

I was much more annoyed about the animated mouse cursor which is completely distracting. Would be great to have an option to switch this off.
Thank you so much for being an awesome dev and not only giving us a demo, but also for all the goodies and features (and engaging with the community here!). Really looking forward to the full game release :D
