There can never be enough of addons for this game!

Good space shooters are still not common and this game is one of them done well.

The Announcement Trailer seems to be missing.

Space shooter first and foremost but there is more to the game. Taken from another site...

"Ancients rise, filled with wrath". Should be taking our leave at full speed then, correct?

The teaser trailer reminded me of (an old) Sci-fi book (highly recommended to the fans of the Space genre):

[They] seems to be strong enough to take on the entire Conclave, as the single scout ship managed to wipe out two-thirds of one of the strongest Alary fleets before being tractored into the Alary flagship.
It's like you get an Artifact and a) you become God because compatible with what you have, or b) you don't know how to use it or it's useless to you (like a smartphone in Ancient Greece)

Wow, had somehow actually never heard of this. O_o
Some solid world-building right there:

* Jen'sh - a race of engineers that appear as a cross between a bee and a monkey.
* Torpp - a unique race of non-biological organisms. They appear as small stars and appear to be composed of plasma encased in force fields. Their homeworld is a star. They are able to travel through space without ships.

The Russian wiki entry mentions there has even been an audiobook released (2 actually)... 14hours long. :''D
And, most interestingly - a game in 2009. Seems quite bad actually, but to it's credit the website is actually still up after 16 years!

Ancient wardens being mini-bosses did drop some of the best loot in the game(s)! :>

Will Wrath of the Ancients be the last dlc for Everspace 2? I don't want to start playing until the game is complete.
