I'll be playing this. But it's a very hard 'genre' to make fun and have feel right. But I'm always on the lookout for "less direct control" management games like this seems to be.

Hooded Horse has a knack for finding the right games. I'm really pleased to see that they're supporting GOG by bringing their great games to us.

Only just watched some gameplay. Seems small. As in. Like there should be some wandering adventure here. It feels really forced, like there should be a Suikoden beginning or some similar.

Dont get me wrong it looks like a decent game....but only half of one.


Maybe add a DLC package that allows the player to create an ordinary noob character. Set out in a random generated world like a large map ala RimWorld. Then when you jad enough adventuring. Use whatever money you aquired to build a house. Farm. Then build more structures for the people you met on your adventure. Visit past friends and sway them to join your soon to be village. Then build from that. Time passes and you may or may not be a leader before your character dies of old age.....married or single. With or without kids.

Yeah, that's basically saying "Doom is only have a game, it should have been Starcraft instead." There's a demo on Steam; it's not "half a game". Maybe not the kind you want though.
