Worst project ever. Because those repulsive blobs of flesh crawling around your house should be fitted with an iPad and managed at a distance.

JPeG & Chaos LLP is developing and producing a new app for parents who want to change the way they have their children do their chores.

With our Chore Commissioner App, parents will be able to set a value to chores completed by their children as well as a timeframe for the chores to be completed.

The kids will then be able to view the chore list on their iPad and mark once they are completed. The completed chores are then able to be verified before the amount is transferred to the kid's "account"

There is an account screen where the kid can choose to transfer the money to their "savings" or to "giving" as they wish. Also, there is a payout function to which the kids can request the money be provided to them.
Self-backed, too.

edit: oh, and:
Kickstarter cannot be used to fund software projects not run by the developers themselves.
Dun dun dun.

How exciting.

Looks ok, nice premise apparently being developed as a single player experience (no multiplayer at this time planned), HOWEVER, it does seem to might be solely available on Steam.Have asked if drm free will be an option.....

OK, a "good old games" related kickstarter (as might be the base for [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/add_reactos_as_third_supported_platform_and_free_and_open_source_option]old windows games in future )

This is what they told me in a PM this year in April:

Hey there,

Thanks a lot, I can't express how excited we all are. And yep yep, GOG.com is absolutely one of the sites we'll be aiming for outside of Steam, so keep an eye out and soon enough you should see us there!

I'll ask them again about it! :)

Chris Avellone of Planescape Torment fame on board as a writer and Legend of Grimrock 2 in the 30$ tier... not too shabby.

Nope works fine for me
Oh look a guy to have invented [url=http://arduiniana.org/projects/the-reverse-geo-cache-puzzle/]reverse geocaching.
Very cute, but I'm not going to spend $160 on it. Still, it's a creative idea and I liked what he's done with it.

Man, that is just horrid, expect it to be full of lame pop-culture references and bad acting. Avellone must be going through a mid-life crisis.

It's a flyby "entrepreneur" trying to cash in on someone else's invention. And the claim that it took him three years to "develop" the box is laughable. You don't "develop" it, you go ahead and make it as a weekend project under CC BY-NC-SA.

Ah, so your post had the completely opposite effect of what you intended, since I took it at face value based on it that it's the same guy in both cases. Thanks for clarifying.
