The Daggerfall Unity: GOG Cut is an awesome concept, but at this point it's using an outdated version of Daggerfall Unity and a lot of the mods are also outdated. A lot of mods on Nexus have big warnings to say they can't work with the GOG Cut because they're incompatible with the outdated version.

Could we get an update to the GOG Cut to use the newest version of Daggerfall Unity and an updated mod list?

If this were github I'd submit a pull request, but IDK how I could here directly help except to make this forum post.

They should just strike it off since they never explicitly asked nor credited the modders in the first place, it's a farce.
Depending on what you have for a computer. Plus what you want out of the game, you are better off putting it together yourself.

The caveat here, is trying to follow the mods and splice them all together in a stable collection.

Though I have a list of mods I could provide. I feel it may be a waste of my time to provide it, when it requires understanding, the load order and fine detail changes with each. As in, to a fellow modder iits fine, but to a noob...well, its a mess.
Should just offer Daggerfall Unity as is, without any pre-applied mods.

If memory serves Gavin Clayton, the creator of Daggerfall:Unity expressed interest in having it hosted here, GoG would probably just have to reach out.
Kinda funny in a sad way how every guide about playing Daggerfall warns against the gog version. I don't think the issue is only outdated mods, but also outdated version of Daggerfall Unity.
