idbeholdME: The only thing that is somewhat noticeable on TN is the gamma shift from center.
ZFR: The other is the colour change when looking from an angle. I'd notice a difference between sitting upright and slouching.
That is what I meant. A little darker on top and a little brighter on the bottom. Definitely will be more noticeable on larger display.

I find asking a gaming community about a gaming monitor quite relevant. And don't forget that this was not meant to be a TN vs IPS war thread. It began with the usual TN hate and devolved into what it is now even though all I originally asked about was someone's experience with a certain monitor and if the issues were as bad as I read. I am interested mainly in how it looks when gaming. Some people just see TN and have an undeniable need to post about how shitty it is. They were clearly not the target audience of this topic, but when they responded, I deemed it polite to reply.
