As these games have recently been removed from the catalog due to rights changing hands, this might be your last chance to own these on GoG.

As usual, some level of forum activity outside of begging and giveaways is expected. You are also expected to redeem them yourself.

The giveaway will end when either entries die down or likely by New Years Eve.

These codes are a package:
Descent 1 + 2
Descent 3 + Mercenary

But should the winner have only one of these fine games, then some other 2nd person will win the other code.

RWarehall! This is totally awesome of you!!! I can't resist entering! I have and have played Descent 1+2 and LOVE them, they are probably in my top 3 FPS of all time (I lump them together, they're so similar.) I never got to play 3+Mercenary. I was very bummed to see them get removed before even getting a chance to acquire the 3rd. Let me sing you a song:

I like 3D shooters when they are done well.
Some suck so much they should burn in hell.
It's a finicky genre, moreso than most.
Some are creams of the crop, some are burnt toast.
Descent 1+2 are so good, they makes me wonder:
What does Descent 3 have under its hood.
If you could show me, I'd love to see
What is in store in Descent 3 + Mercenary.

YES! I was biting myself in the ass for not getting Descent 1+2 when they disappeared from the catalogue. Therefore I am IN for Descent 1+2 (I have Descent 3 already).

I'd love to be in for Descent 1+2! I never actually played either of them, but I had and lived Descent 3 back in the day. I just recently acquired Descent 3 on GOG, and played some of it again. It is just as fantastic as I remember!

I nearly bought 1+2 during the last sale, but decided I would pick it up at a later date. Imagine my surprise when they were removed from the catalog.

I don't know if Ideserve them, but I promise that I would honor the gift by playing the games and make sure that they wouldn't collect dust in my backlog. I've never owned or played these games in the past, but I think that I still could enjoy them (I played some very old games in the last few years and some of them became my favourite games).

Well, i had always wanted to play the Descent series since many yrs ago but nv got ard to buying them as i had other games to play & put on hold plans to buy them. Had i known they wld be removed fr the catalogue i wld certainly had gotten them 1st. Anyway, guess i was too late & so i hope to have the chance to win Descent 1+2 (preferred) or Descent 3 + Mercenary here. Many thks to RWarehall for this GA. :)
