For those that don't know. Yes, it's a Steam Key. No it's not DRM free. You have to sign up to their news letter to get it. You can also then un-sign up for their news letter later if you want.

I grabbed it and saw that at 39Gb it would take two months of my allotted bandwidth to download, and that's only if I don't allow any of my guests to check their emails. :P

So I have it, but no go on installing it.

Yes, as pointed out in another thread, usually when Codemasters offer a game for free it will be soon discontinued.
Dirt3 was a game I wanted to buy to play with kids, since it's very easy to pick up and race, arrived too late.

Dirt Rally is a totally different beast. It's a awsome game but concentration must be top notch. It's so good I´ve bought a new wheel to play it!
Actually I haven´t liked a racing game as much as Dirt Rally since the Gran Turismo 1, 2 and 3 (each one for different reasons)

This is an awesome gift to those who didn't already own this driving/racing gem.
I've been playing it for years now and it's the best rally game ever made. These days/months I'll be testing Dirt Rally 2.0 to check if the titles stays with the first one or if has passed to its successor.

Well, I don't play racing games at all and I really suck at them, but it's free, so why not?
