Sorry you missed out on it. I try to post about free games as soon as i learn about them. It'll be free again since this was the second time in two weeks it was given away. It's considered an older game now, I guess. Even though I think of it as cutting edge and I can't even play it on highest settings or anything.

I believe the offer is over, was just 2 days.
The game was offered for free in Humble recently as well, if you ask around and check the non-GOG Giveaway thread there may be some copies left.
