If during your life you have been really interested in videogames it is just a matter of time, depending your age. The same could happen with your book collection.

Catventurer: I can get headaches, but that is entirely from seizure graphics. Even then, not all seizure graphics give me headaches. Just something to consider that if you do get headaches from a game, it might not be the motion that is the culprit.
I'm not at risk of seizures, so our situations are a bit different. But seizure warnings always specify "even if you don't have a history of seizures" so I try not to get complacent about this stuff.

If it's not too late for some constructive criticism, this thread would've been better received if it was about your favorite games or genres, with the YouTube channel link as an aside. Everyone's total game count is publicly visible by default. You can additionally also make your entire collection publicly visible. An 8-minute video scrolling through your collection is therefore not that interesting to many.
It's always nice to share and interact with others, if done considerately.
It can give a window into personalities, though they should never be viewed as set in concrete. It is just a snapshot at a certain stage of growth.

The world can be a lonely place for many, and games can be a good outlet or point of contact with other folk, where you share something in common.
Just look at my profile and you'll see how many I have. Most I just wanted to own again because I played them back in the day. Others are more of a backlog.
I own around 1300 games on GOG. Of these, I finished around 320, I tried and didn't like (or thought they weren't for me) around 190 of them and I have a mix of classic, new and favourites installed at the moment on my PC (10 or so in total).

I started to implement some rules when buying new games, since I am obviously lagging behind in clearing my backlog. Outside of games I absolutely want, I only buy a game if I finish 3 I already own first (only games I haven't finished before count). It's obviously not a perfect guideline (some games last much longer than others), but at least it slowed down my ballooning collection.

As I got older I found myself with the opposite problem I had in my youth (too much time, not enough money for games became the reverse), which is probably why I bought too much over the years. Also, for a period of time the delistings started to worry me, so I was more liberal with my purchases.

I am willing to give most old or indie games a try, and here we are. XD

My current collection on GOG alone is in the 400s. Honestly, if I were to narrow it down to the stuff I really want, it would be cut down by half. The other half is are freebies, games about to be delisted, and titles somehow piqued my interest despite being outside my usual genres.
