Just done a speed test and my internet is fine, for some reason the servers are running slow, very slow, painfully slow in fact.
Maybe the 2 sexy games on front page store are to blame.
Yeah, I'd have to say the pipeline is pretty full.

Waggles eyebrows.

"Well what's wrong with being sexy?"
I want to download Witcher 3, anything I can do to speed up the process?

You're asking for a game that is 35 Gigabytes large to download faster.

Yes I am, I am on a 200mb connection and just want to know if there is anything/anywhere else I can try. On GoG I am only getting 0.4mbs.

...and has a recently released 17GB patch everybody is downloading right now? Yep, that one.

Consider yourself privileged then: that guy is only getting 30kB/s. :P

This problem isn't happening on Steam, so why should it be any different here?

Not that I'm aware off. The best thing I can suggest on days like this is take a deep breath, let the downloader run in background and do something else.

Because GOG is waaaay smaller than Steam and has only a fraction of its resources, maybe?

Because I'm going to guess that GOG doesn't have a terabit pipeline just quite yet.

Suppose we all learn from our mistakes then. You pay a premium on steam for these reasons I guess.

These guys are horsing around with you.

Try using the downloader: http://www.gog.com/downloader

I'm usually faster on GOG than Steam.

P.S. If that doesn't work, then flush your DNS, reboot your PC, reboot your modem and reboot your router.
