I really like the first forty-two seconds or so. ;P

To be honest, when I posted in here I wasn't even aware that the GOG version is lacking this feature, as I played the game on Steam (possibly before it was released here). I don't think my character was borrowed a lot over there either, maybe once or twice, and I didn't mind it that much, but then again, I have to admit I never finished the expansion as it became too hard and tedious for me (so maybe that proves you right).

(I did borrow other people's pawns a lot though.)

When I was referring to the timed missions, I was thinking specifically where you have to chase the guy through the town and catch him in a certain amount of time and if you failed you had to redo the mission.

I hate all these types of quests in games.

I think Borderlands 2 did this the worse with the mail delivery missions, especially because if you don't clean out the area first you run into hordes of enemies as you are trying to do the quests that are so time sensitive.

Would also really really appreciate if you could mention it to the devs to fix up the GOG version. Thanks in advance

That was really not bad. In fact it was the only one of its type that I remember.

Yeah you did not have to chase him around at all , he runs in a fixed route , all you have to do is not attempt the mission asap, build up some level a strong attack / spell will stop him long enough to pick him up.

There is a lot more annoying things that can happen in the game like getting a important npc killed during his/her escort mission and failing the quest.

Also the game will clearly warn you before advancing the plot that quests open will get failed , although i failed a few despite that , the only good thing is that on the second playthrough you dont have to do everything again ( if you are going for the trophy/achievement ) related to doing all the quests.

the fact that getting her killed means she doesn't have her shop for you to use at that location was annoying when I first did my escort mission but it makes you want to get her there alive and I like that as a game world senario i.e, fail the mission = something bad not just o well its no biggie

Aye it kept you on the edge haha i remember one where i was taking the npc through the woods and a dragon attacked out of nowhere and burnt her to a crisp, luckly i had saved before haha

Well,I didn't really want this to become a "SPOILER'' thread but with a bit of luck I'll forget them,if I decide to install the game.

My peon is called Eve... she is level 31 Mage (was Sorcerer) so if you need heals and the odd fireball give her a spin

Doubt you will be able to use the pawns since the share is broken on gog , you can wait till its fixed.....

I thought only sending gifts is broken but not using other players' pawns?

So, you can't get pawns from others in Gog version?
Are there quests/battles that can't be completed/won without other people's pawns?

not sure would be nice if someone who owns it confirms , in the other thread i was told the pawn share does not work
