I didn't realize Vimeo had started an on-demand video streaming service as well as a pay for DRM-Free downloads, but it's something I will definitely be exploring. Of course, most of the films available there are very low budget, independent films, but I've come across a few really interesting ones that I'm pretty excited about.

Particularly, this film:
It's Such A Beautiful Day

A highly experimental exploration of animation and existentialism that any one interested in either of the two topics would surely appreciate. I caught it on Netflix a while back and was pretty blown away by it.

Does anyone know of any other great films available DRM-Free at vimeo?

Good news, better than nothing.
didn't know that myself. good to see. I'd rather own a movie here than anywhere else.

That would require GOG to actually release films though.
Cool, hopefully this actually leads somewhere.
Oh my god! This is truly, truly, truly outrageous!

Wow, pretty interesting -- they have the 80's animated G.I. Joe series too:

Transformers, too!

Hoop Dreams is a pretty highly acclaimed and well-known doc too:

Wow, hats off to Vimeo for pulling that off. I wonder how they got Hasbro et al. to agree to that.
I'm guessing some of these are region locked since they're more popular than most of the movies on gog, right?
trouble is it ends up costing more

to download than the cost of the actual movie
