Hi, just have this quick question since im new and i heared there are problems with notification emails for games that are on my wishlist...is this just an old information or is the notifying still not working reliable ?

I still get the mails about games on my wishlist.

I get notifications too.

It works fine for me as well.

I've never noticed any problems with email notification of games on my wishlist. In fact, sometimes I'll add a currently-promoted game (to be bought later on, at hopefully a better discount) and then get an email about how it's on sale right now, less than an hour later.

That being said, everyone else's experiences may differ, based on their choice of browser or even their ISP. If you (or anyone else) ever notice that you haven't received an email for a sale item in your wishlist, the best thing to do is to contact GOG support (under Support/Account & Website in the dropdown menu) and let them know so that they can work on fixing it. If we just sit around and say, "Nope, never worked right for me and probably never will," then we're not giving them the info they may need to track down and solve the problem.

GOG often sent mails too late.
Many people get the mails AFTER GOG promo ended.

It has nothing to do with ISPs.

Anyway, the lot of answers gave a good overview about the notification emails working all in all, not for a few obviously but i think it's the same on other game-platforms. For some its not running well unfortunately.

Had games on my wishlist and got the notification males as they went sale, just for the records.

You mean you got actual males to show up? :P
