You do realize why bots are happening ? I advertised GoG Galaxy on the Steam platform.
Steam put a banner on their launcher, ending support for Win 7/8.1 in 2024.
So I started a shit storm against that decision. 10 other people started their own posts on the same topic.
Shill bots came out right away but I guess defeated. They really do mean to steal games from all their consumers/customers, EA Style. ~30min. ago they shadow blocked me from posting "too many posts in a short period of time".

Now if only there was a clever method of nipping the problem in the bud....
Such as restricting forum privileges to users that have actually bought something here.

But surely such advanced witchcraft is beyond the ability of gog.

Or simply limiting the number of new threads that can be created by new user accounts in a given amount of time. I know, these seem like quite advanced concepts ...

Who creates the names of these "Universities" in the first place?

Also this is the first time I am seeing such spam posts advertising colleges/universities. Earlier it used to be mostly "black magic" and ahem... supplements.
