Hi all, has something to the galaxy platform? Every time i enter my credentials it keeps telling me that my p/word is incorrect. I changed it and it's still saying it. tried un/reinstalling galaxy to no avail either And because it isn't working, I don't have the option to report it directly either. Any ideas/advice?
I haven't had any issues.

After password change, are you requested for 2-factor-auth?

If you changed your password and then entered your original password afterwards, then your original password would have became invalid and stopped working at the time when you changed it.

The password with which you use to logon Galaxy is the same one that you use to logon to the GOG website too. So if it works for one, then it should also work for the other.

Another problem could be if you are trying to copy & paste your password, which can often copy & paste hidden characters like spaces, so if that's the problem then the solution is to type each character of your password manually.

i probably didn't word my original post very well. this is the full run down:

clicked the game i wanted to play from the desktop, it usually starts up with no issues. however this time a box popped up asking me sign in to galaxy to play, so i manually typed it. this has happened before, so i didn't think much of it. it came up as incorrect p/word, so i typed it again- same thing happened twice more. i decided to change my p/word to see if that would help but upon entering my new p/word, the same thing happened again- incorrect password. have tried a few more times since- every time retyping it manually- and each time the same thing happens.

i uninstalled galaxy then reinstalled it hoping that would help but the same box keeps popping up, telling me my p/word is incorrect. whatever game on my desktop that i've purchased through galaxy is coming up with that box. I've also noticed that it says "login with facebook unavailable" (i don't login with fb so this doesn't bother me), so i wondered if the entire platform was having an issue? it worked perfectly fine the day before, now galaxy isn't even coming up for me.

after consulting the support pages, it said that the best way to contact them about a problem was to report directly through the galaxy platform, but as the platform isn't even coming up i can't do that. it also gave a link for sending a manual report but that page doesn't want to work either, so i'm not sure what to do?!

is there maybe i way i can play without the galaxy platform? hope i've explaind this better :P

Yes there is, that's the whole point of DRM-Free, being able to play your games without having to put up with clients.

You can look in the game folder for the .exe file that starts the game withouth galaxy. I would assume that every installed game has an .exe free from galaxy's shackles but since i tend not to use galaxy i don't know for sure.

Worst case scenario, uninstall galaxy, uninstall the game, download the game's standalone installers from your library here on the website - click on a game cover in your library > Click on "More" > "Download Offline Backup Installers" - and use those to re-install the game.

If you try to run a game through the desktop shortcut created by Galaxy it will try to run the game via Galaxy.

To run the game wihout Galaxy run the game from the Game folder, directly from the exe or the other shortcut into the folder. Or create a shorcut yourself if needed.

Thanks all for your responses, really appreciate your help and taking the time to read through. Still don't understand though how galaxy worked fine one day and not the next?!?!
