Hello,

I have a GOG Galaxy issue.

For some reason, a game I've been playing for about 28 hours is now showing as 168 hours. Is there any way I can fix this and put it back to 28 hours?

Thanks.

Rob.

I've only ever had the opposite - game time not recognised/updated.

This sounds really fishy - make sure you log out every device:

Account menu -> Privacy and Settings -> Login and Security -> "Logout all"
Enable Two-Factor, if not enabled
Change Password.

This really sounds like someone is playing your games with your account.

Contact support so they can look into it (look at logs, IP addresses etc.)

Well, it's a possibility... But I've seen complaints that putting computer into sleep mode (if I recall correctly) causes continuous accumulation of play time.

But only if the game is still running. Also when the profiles were introduced and I had alternately HuniePop, LSL:MGM and Softporn Adventure running overnight to spoil my profile I think I really had to leave the machine running - sleep mode didn't cut it. But I may be remembering this wrong.

Also 168 hours versus 28...

I think what might of happened, is that I closed the game, but the syncs seemed to get stuck at 96%. The computer was put to sleep, then I reopened it, still stuck at 96%. At that point it had 28 hours. When I closed GOG and reopened it a few minutes later, it had gone up to 168 hours.

I reckon the synching issue caused it (although I might be wrong).

That said, I do have 2 step and have done as you suggest about logging out of all accounts, so thanks for that advice.

Just a bit annoying that the game time isn't anywhere near accurate now (first world problems of course).
