just bought the The witcher 3 GOTY and all the writing is in some russian looking language. but all the voices are in english.

i checked the game settings on gog galexy and its in english.

Go to the game saves folder. It can be one of these two:
C:\Users\user\Documents\MyGames\The Witcher 3
C:\Users\user\Documents\The Witcher 3

Then, open "user.settings" with the notepad and search for:
TextLanguage=RU

Change it to:
TextLanguage=EN

Save and exit. Now do the same with "user.settings.bak", the backup of the settings file.

dont worry i just fucked around with all the options and found out how to do it in game somehow
