Where does that leave Chrono Trigger, with Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure? Yes, that works for me.

sanscript: Jurassic Park (Games) - Westworld

Breja: I don't think I get this one... I mean, I get the obvious connection between them, but those are both movies.
There are plenty of games released under the Jurassic Park umbrella.

Just like this one:
Total Recall : Dark City

I get that these games are old and don't exactly invoke the same atmosphere as a newer game/movie, but I think it's still valid in terms of game(s) to movies(s) with similarities.

I would have put Bill land Ted in with Zombies ate my Neighbors.
Idk if this is a perfect pairing but I watched Flow today and I think it'd pair pretty well with Shadow of the Colossus (maybe?), although the movie does have a much brighter colour palette

I already matched Flow with Stray on the first page for having near-identical premises.

For Shadow of the Colossus, I want to nominate Castle in the Sky, but that fits Ico better. Oh, I know! The Sea Beast also features giant creatures and a twist about the hunting of them not being worth it.

ah i missed that, sorry. i personally paired the two simply based on the vibe and scenery rather than the premise or themes, so i guess i'm looking at it a different way? idk.

Also, No One Lives Forever -> OSS 117: Le Caire nid d'espions (OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies)

Maybe The Last Guardian? Looks like a really good movie. It won a bunch of awards and made it to the cannes film festival ? Yeah, that's a safe bet on quality assurance.
The Last Guardian pairs with just about any movie where a boy adventures alongside an animal. As much as I want to say Alpha, that's more like Far Cry: Primal than anything else.
The Surge - Elysium
That's the only here I don't get... those two have nothing in common.

I think of the writing. Gilliam and Schaffer I think offer a large sum of clever writing, exposition and character development.

I like a surreal world as the next one but I vote no on that one. Think you missed the first post :D
