Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, I have great memories of this excellent strategy game game from every point of view. The universe is very nice.

Albion has already been mentioned.

I'd add Age of Decadence. It's set in a sort of late antique/early medieval setting, but the technology level of the empire that fell 300 years before was a lot more advanced.
Thunderscape have firearms
Ultima IX have modern times as tutorial, Dungeon Siege 1 and 3 have goblin technology (firearms, flamethrowers, miniguns and grenade launchers)
Edge of Twilight, Torchlight2,

Crosmando: I remember this old DOS RTS game where creatures of fantasy world invaded our "Real world", so it was things like Fairies and Orcs versus tanks and machine-guns. Can't remember the name though.
SpellCross?
It was made by Slovaks

Star Ocean does this well. Including the most recent one released on PC.

Dunatarh: cyberpunk IMO is not equal to sci-fi, it's just pays too much attention to dystopian fancy to my taste.
What do you mean by "too much attention"? And what kind of sci-fi you consider to be "equal"?
Well, if you accept quote from Arthur C. Clarke: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

Then you can grasp all fantasy as sci-fi.

Dunatarh: Games in hybrid fantasy/sci-fi setting
Preferably strategy and RPG.

Something [...] where magic and alien technology coexist, or [...] where [...] nature magic and ancient technologies [exist].
Have you looked into: https://www.gog.com/game/torment_tides_of_numenera already?

It's an RPG that features magic and technology.

I prefer an 'old-school' type of sci-fi. Before Gibson and Dick and before it became trendy to depict the future in pessimistic tones as a cultural/social decline. Think of Edmond Hamilton and the like.
nevermind :D

but if you ever decide to upgrade you can still play Secret World Legends. You can play the game solo for the stories just fine.

This!

Elex is great IMHO

Although not technically fantasy, it is medieval with scifi: Akella's Hard to be a God

Oh, man, I do have it. It's just plain awful. If I had to choose among the schlock Russian technofantasy RPGs, I'd prefer Borderzone.

Yeah, didn't say it was particularly good. ;)
Nobody mentions a dozen of Star Wars titles?!

Fantasy in high tech setting, if that doesn't fit the bill...
