You know that little indicator at the top of the screen that constantly shows you where you have to go, to the point where you kind wonder if there’s any point to you actually exploring the place? While it does have some advantages over chasing your own tail for an hour only to find out the NPC you wanted fell through the floor, it can have some adverse effects on the games it’s used in, and on the people playing them.
