Are there any good websites for gaming news and articles about gaming in general? Please try to abstain from bashing different sites and content creator, keep it positive and recommend the ones you do enjoy instead.

RPGWatch is a decent, you guessed it, RPG news site.
Once in a while I'll check out Siliconera or RPGSite, but rarely anything that interests me is put up.

Honestly, I'd like to find some good sites myself. I'll drop by pcgaming and rpg_gamers subreddits, but having a low-end laptop means most of the posts are not really useful to me, other than being excited for other people. As for reddit, I find game-specific subreddits to have the best info. Like the Grim Dawn one.

These days, I've been watching a couple of Twitch streamers who stream themselves working on Prodeus.

It really depends what content/focus one personally prefers and web's design as the sites often write about same topics or games.

Not really a bad idea to follow individual developers/publishers on twitter as you get information faster and straight up from the source (cdprojekt red, devolver, ubisoft, THQ, EA, microsoft, sony, nintendo...).
