After 9.5 years on the previous one, a while ago I finally got the parts for a new computer and put it together, so to mark the occasion I made my first game purchases since 2020 as well, one for myself, the rest for you :) All of them are old and cheap, however, games I played way back, and sticking to the rule of not buying any game with a regional price that's higher than the base (US) one. And, possibly with one exception, they're probably games that you wouldn't be able to justify paying anything for anymore. But in case you have any interest or curiosity about them, now that the big sales are over (even if two of them are still discounted), you can ask for them here.

Rules:
1. Account created before November 2024.
2. Not a scammer or other known undesirable.
3. Have recent forum activity outside giveaways and forum games.
4. Put "I'm in for" followed by the game or games in the post. Yes, bold the "in".
5. Entries will close on Jan 12.
6. Taking a cue from BenKii, I'll use dice to determine the winners. Regular ones, since I don't have any others, but three of them, like rolling stats. In case of a tie, I'll roll a fourth. If the tie persists, highest die of the four wins, then second highest, then third highest. In the extremely unlikely case of all four being equal, I'll reroll all four until there is a winner.

Games and entrants:
Amazon: Guardians of Eden - 01kipper, DiffuseReflection, drxenija, erbello, Geralt_of_Rivia, kultpcgames, pablodusk, park_84, thiagott, Ultra.Instinct.
Lula: The Sexy Empire - botan9386, csanjuro, DiffuseReflection, drxenija, erbello, Geralt_of_Rivia, KillingMoon, Lexor, park_84, Ultra.Instinct.
Sid Meier's Colonization - DiffuseReflection, drxenija, erbello, Geralt_of_Rivia, KillingMoon, RenKalan, TheBigCore
Summer and Winter: Olympic Challenge - ConsulCaesar, drxenija, erbello, kultpcgames

Cavalary:
Cavalary, greetings! A very nice giveaway. I am not in.

I wish to sincerely congratulate you on joining the AMD Ryzen 8700G club. We accept you. One of us! (^_^)

Hopefully, in time, the usage of desktop APUs (Accelerated Processing Units) will rise. May your 8700G serve you well for (at least) a decade.
I'm in for Summer and Winter: Olympic Challenge
Thanks for the giveaway, Cavalary. I'm not in, but just wanted to say that I really can see the minimalist appeal of APUs. My old machine sports an AMD one as well, and I too would like to upgrade to current hardware as soon as funds allow. Good luck everyone!
How could you recommend Lula? In for Lula.

Thank you for finally buying yourself a new machine to reach the newest and beyond.
I am interested in your graphic card(or two), USB version, and monitor... would you mind to share?
As things go, I'm getting a new/refurbished machine to play '10-'19 games this month.

Best luck!⁷
I'm in for "Amazon: Guardians of Eden". I'd never heard of this game before, but it looks really good!

Thanks, Cavalary.

Congrats Cavalary! My favorite of that list is Sid Meier's Colonization, but I got it several years ago and played a lot :D Truly recommended.

I would like to apply to an access software game then.

Hmm, can't find any other recent posts by you. If I missed them, could you provide some links?

Thanks. I'm sure hoping so. Wasn't easy to push myself in that direction, used to say never to AMD, but I'm saying more of a never to Intel's direction with the mix of different kinds of cores, plus that you can't compare in terms of iGPU performance.

Well, didn't say I recommended it, though it had its appeal back in the day, but it's on the menu :)
You may want to check your entry text though.

System info's in profile, I guess that's how the others found it :) Anyway, no dedicated GPU, why I got a CPU with a good iGPU. Monitor's still my trusty old Philips 190S7FS (19", 1280x1024, 8ms), that resolution helps a lot with needing low performance graphics too.
Not sure what you mean by USB version though. Motherboard lists this for the back panel:
1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port(s) (1 x USB Type-C®)
3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 port(s) (2 x Type-A + 1 x USB Type-C®)
4 x USB 2.0 port(s) (4 x Type-A)
And the case's front panel has a 3.0 and a 2.0 port.

Wish you luck with the new machine too!

Surprised that it's getting the most entries so far. Yeah, it looked good for its time, and got the atmosphere it was going for right I'd say, but hope you also have a good stomach for the failings and trappings of adventure games from way back then too.

I hope there are many hours of happy gaming ahead on the new computer and kudos to you for your giveaway. :)

I'm really curious though... what was the game you bought for yourself?

Congratulations for your new machine!
I believe it's due time to do some upgrading on mine too.

Wonderful mainboard. https://www.asus.com/uk/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-b650-plus/ I read your profile and Asus description, yet I still don't know what graphic card this is, even knowing some of its tech specs. Then after a long search found it as "Integrated AMD RDNA™ graphics (Actual support may vary by CPU)"
While your CPU is more than enough, your chipset can go all the way dx12, and be compared to...https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-780M-GPU-Benchmarks-and-Specs.680539.0.html In addition, there is a nice PCI slot for any future upgrades. Sounds like a good choice : )
I'm in for Sid Meier's Colonization or Lula: The Sexy Empire.

Congratulations on your new computer: may it serve you well and for a long time :)
And big thanks for this giveaway!
