I don't see how the the conclusion "Glad I kept my Preorder" logically follows from the premise that "the game is not dead."

Even if the game is not dead, preordering still remains an equally terrible idea anyway, for a whole lot of different reasons.

Posting a few nice screenshots doesn't mean the game won't have you t-pose naked on a motorcycle before clipping you through the elevator and flatlining.. that is, if they release a game at all :P

Each to their own but I'm not preordering anything, not even sequels to my favorite titles from my favorite developers...

I have to say I do enjoy the popcorn time that follows these disappointing releases :D

I didn't give up on it as well.

I was incredibly hyped for the game and admit I walked back on my no pre-order policy. Only to land on the sh*tshow that soon ensued, which served to finally drive the point on pre-orders, no matter the situation. I'm done with them for good.

I'm glad I canceled my pre-order. They scrapped all the initial work done on it, all the good people who were involved were sacked... if it turns out to be anything more than a mediocre cash-crab, I'll be surprised. I say this with the most awful bitterness, because I was looking forward to it when it was first announced.
