Galaxy isn't mandatory. If you don't like it just play games without it.

You don't need galaxy to play your games, just download the installer from the site and install it than play.

Replacement Caps Lock keys can be gotten for a few cents.

I have no issues with Galaxy and it works fine. Strange world that IT is right?

I certainly am not touching Galaxy until it is much better than now.

Dropping Galaxy means loss of multi-player in several games. Achievements and cloud saves will be gone as well as beta versions, if any.

Login to the website using a browser and hover over your name in the top menu then click on 'games' and pick the game you want to install then see picture. You will need all the files on the left side unless some are 32/64 bit versions that you do not need but either of.

'High end' rig. LOL. If it's taking that long to load galaxy as well as games via the client, then there's something wrong with your 'high end' rig.

Now here's a fine candidate for shock therapy, if ever there was...

To be fair, I tend to think Galaxy (and steam and other clients) tend to initially load up pretty slow. I don't leave things running in the background usually, so it's more apparently when starting and closing out of a client for me, though, and I have an SSD, i7 8086k, and 32GB of RAM.

That said, my definition of "slow to load" is like 20-45 seconds, and my slower internet bandwidth might be playing into this partially. If you're taking several minutes to launch any client, something is significantly wrong with your PC.
