What with the introduction of GOG Galaxy and my growing GOG game collection, I was running into a problem -- I do most of my gaming from my HTPC, and generally switch between Kodi and Steam Big Picture,
Even though Galaxy lacks a big picture mode, it does bring something useful to the table -- a registry of it's installed games. I wrote a simple utility that uses this info to create and update a category in the Steam client with these games so that they'd be in big picture mode with minimal fuss:

There's a precompiled exe under the dist folder too, or you can build it yourself. If the game being added has a match on Steam, it'll retrieve and use the official Steam banner too.
Thought others here might find it useful, windows only for now.
