Hey there!
So, I have MSI GT72VR 6RD with integrated Tobii Eye-tracking. The thing itself is very cool and in addition to a regular gaming experience, adds this virtual reality kind of sensation. Up until today I didn't try to use it much, but seeing how I own some of the officially supported games, decided to try it out. Looking through the list, on each game they provide shop name as to where to buy the game. As far as I have seen - only Steam, UPlay or free to download.
What I own from the list and where:
- SOMA -- GOG -- installed
- Dying Light: The Following - EE -- GOG -- installed
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided -- Steam -- installed
- Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide -- Steam
- Tom Clancy's The Division -- UPlay
I became curious, if GOG games would work with Tobii or is it Steam exclusive. Dying Light worked. Deus Ex worked. SOMA did not work. Can't understand, why.
Because of working Dying Light, I assume that game itself matters, as long as latest Tobii Eye Tracking Core Software is installed to allow supported games use Tobii. But then why does SOMA not work?
...
Do any of you have experience with Tobii technology? With Tobii and GOG games?
