Fortunately, a number of the threads in there are no longer relevant as the games have since made their way to GOG.

I'll throw in another thread, for NIS America to bring Ys VIII to GOG. If ever there was an opening for NISA to get aboard GOG, this game would be it:

tfishell: I had some fun doing that in 2013-14 for GOG, but it ate too much time since I was really into it. I and passionate others like Sinistar, Barry_Woodward, etc. did help bring some games here. (I was kind of rewarded with Pajama Sam actually coming, which was awesome to see.) Now it's an occasional thing.

mechmouse: I know a number of indie games I've contacted have released here, whether that was due to me contacting them or it was always their intention I don't know.
Doesn't hurt to try. I think I helped bring World of Goo and Aquaria by keeping a conversation going with the devs. But maybe I just want something to feel good about. :P

amurgaming: I believe activism has an impact and there's no reason why the aforementioned games and many others shouldn't be available on GOG.
