Alexim: With the missed release of Wizard with a Gun and The Talos Principle 2, it certainly appears that Devolver Digital has stopped publishing games on GOG, at least on day one.

BreOl72: The Talos Principle 2 - ?? (Steam: November 2, 2023)
Wizard with a gun - ?? (Steam: October 17, 2023)

Gunbrella - September 13, 2023
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood - August 17, 2023 (Steam: August 16, 2023)
Bleak Sword DX - June 8, 2023
Terra Nil - March 30, 2023 (Steam: March 28, 2023)

It's not the first time.
Patience is a virtue, young Padawan... ;)
They were all games that had "Coming Soon" pages, so I'm not holding my breath for now XD

Alexim: Humble Games used to release its games on GOG on day 1, now Midnight Fight Express was released with considerable delay, and SIGNALIS doesn't look like it will ever arrive here.
Signalis was only released on Steam and MS store, no other place! They surely think veeeery highly of it and nothing "lesser" will be good enough.

neumi5694: I am still waiting for Life Is Strange 2
This game still got Denuvo on Steam... and no EGS version at all. Not even a critical loss, because the first game was better i say.

Sometimes people ask for a lot.

neumi5694: And somehow I also have little hopes to see Horizon Forbidden West here, should it ever come to PC.
My hope is pretty "solid", as Sony was moving closer to GoG recently, yet we know very little about this game at this time.

Most of the other so called "great games" i could safely pass on them... if they wish to grab their bucket and bringing those white primroses somewhere else, i guess not the biggest loss. Many of those games i honestly got no clue why people love it so much, guess we are a weird new generation and i am to much "old school". I do not have the time playing all the games on the entire planet... so i am very selective, as my time is valuable.

Yeah, I noticed. Dwarf Fortress ain't here, so I bought it direct from Kitfox Games on Itch.

GOG's loss. I made myself a mental promise to buy when the Linux version was availed again, and indeed it happened. Even got a slight discount for my trouble of waiting.

Whats actually shocking me the most is that there are so many people willing to pay up to 50 coins°°° (DLC included) for a game that basically got no graphic at all and it could be made free as a "open source". However, i think they have bigger success than many AA or even AAA titles with way more dev costs involved.

°°°Yes this is my countrys price, maybe some other country only got to pay 5 coins, totally possible... (be at the right place at the right time).

We are living at a interesting time...
When i was a teen, we was always hunting "for the best tech", "the biggest game", all those feats... we simply was impressed by a game as a whole but yeah, nowadays almost anyone could be successful and probably earn billions just by creating the right thing at the right time. For example the Minecraft thing... which i never played (and never will, i lack this sort of taste), yet it was generating billions... with development costs close to none.

So with this new tendency it is not even surprising that the market for "huge games" is slowly drying out and that the "Indies" with increased rate are acting like spoiled brats.

Whats clear: The lack of good hardware related to the masses is another "Indie-advantage" as those games can literally be run on a toaster and this is valued a lot. However, i never had in mind this "wave" would be that strong.

Regarding the "huge games", we usually call AA or AAA games, actually GoG never had so many of them available, while the access to Indies is slowly crumbling, but with highest rate the "super-Indies" who was very successful. Even interesting to see... those people actually caring are willing to hunt those Indies down and will be able to find it, no matter the location they are hiding (sometimes not even on Steam)... while some other games could be flashing up right in front of them and it may barely become noticed. I think there is some sort of gold-digger mentality when it comes to games... really fun time somehow.

Well, and the like-minded ones are of course pushing each others with a lot of gratitude which can be seen on the "ratings"... and interesting enough, downvoting still works somehow.

Besides, nope, i am not a hater of "pixel graphics"... i got some of those games which sufficiently passed my "sense of art", for example Humbles "Unsighted", and i am kinda sad "Signalis", with high potential, is not available on almost any platform except the ones already ruling it. Although i am very picky and only a chosen few may hit my taste.

Dungeons 4 might be another example for this thread.

It was released last week on Steam yet is not on GOG, even though GOG does have Dungeons 2 and Dungeons 3.
