... feels extremely weird. And I mean weird compared to GH's usual gameplay.

Excluding the mod, this is the 4th post in the entire game(!) and the ones before it, 2 by Bookwyrm 1 by blotunga, were 100% clearly jokey RVS. In practically all of his previous games, GH always started off with (hello/hi/character_roleplay/joke... etc).
Did GH seriously consider Bookwyrm's post to be "possible shading"? Why didn't he consider blotunga's to be "possible shading"??

Here is my theory:
After a long break GH drew scum and Bookwyrm is his partner. So GH makes the decision that he should distance himself. Only, like his bReadcrUmbing, he does it in a bit of a hamfisted way right off the bat. Bookwyrm has to reply in kind.

A bit LAMISTY...
(the second one has an AtE that I don't like: people saying 'if that's how we're playing then just lynch me' makes me feel very guilty that I'm detrimental to their enjoyment of the game.)

But these are just very minor things, and in themselves would probably not mean much.

Anyway, there is my hypothesis: GH and Bookwyrm are the Mafia team and you heard it here first. 83 hrs after game started.

If we're not going NL, I'm happy to vote either

Bookwyrm627: There are only one statement I would add: We're not voting randomly once we get out of RVS, so EV based on random voting is completely irrelevant. At least, I hope you guys aren't voting randomly.
Full disclosure: I did this on a few rare occasions when I had no leads or strong suspicions, or just because my luck at finding scum is not always the best and I figure why the heck not be a bit random. Usually I try to hone in one whom I most suspect, though.

They get NK every night, but it's not free. We get lynch in return. A free NK is when they get it for nothing in return because we NL. That's what Lift meant. But I'm just arguing semantics here.

That's not what you did here. You didn't "catch" BW on a slip or confession. You accused his RVS of being a shade attempt.

Also, you haven't done such firstpost hunting in the previous games you were playing... Sorry, but what you did does look like distance attempt at worst and shading of Town!Bookwyrm at best.

As in all my previous games, I'm not going to explain my bragging rights post. The whole point of them is to do them early when all you have is your luck and gut feeling. Take it with a grain of salt. (I miss when we used to do it with Joe).

Lifthrasil: @GH: I unvoted ZFR because my vote was RVS and he got quite quickly to 3 votes. Yes, one was already removed again, but still that's no reason to keep an RVS vote. Also ZFR with all his maths is his usual self. So NAI and useful to keep around until some reason for suspicion appears.

Btw, a questions: What do you think of ZFR's seeming tunneling/focusing on me as of late, and the first bit of Bookwyrm's post 84?

Speaking of: What do you think of ZFR's seeming honing in on me and Bookwyrm's Post 84(the first bit in that post, I mean)? Anything seem scummy or otherwise amiss?

Jokes aside, you should know me by now....I change often, sometimes big changes and sometimes small ones....and sometimes even from game to game :)

(though you being the maths wiz of these games, you might notice a pattern I do not, being an outside pov and all)

Tbf/tbh, i've been in a bit of a "funk"/slump as of late....not being motivated to do much of some things(take a look at how long it took me to work on finishing my second escaype game's map/other stuff, for example).....also the lack of flavor for this game made me feel a bit less motivated to do my usual roleplaying.

(and even if I did roleplay....what theme/topic/etc would I pick? Something based on the title? Or something else?)

Add to that me being busy with IRL a bit(getting games done, doing errands and shopping, etc), and ya can likely see why I started off a bit less than stellar(compared to my usual openings in these games).

Tbh I was only slightly serious with that.....though I did note that in my game note file, like I do with anything else people post/say that seems amiss/noteworthy to me.

I actually have...as said above, I note down posts(even from D1 and even seemingly silly posts people make that seem off to me) in my game notes near every game as of late.

I am guessing you skimmed them, then, or you would've noted the bit where I basically admitted I was only partially serious with that post/vote.

And as I said, after what some scum players pulled in prior games, I scrutinize near everything people say(when I remember to, that is...memory and all).

You know, I usually don't take action on Day 1 (or take it late anyway) because it's the most pointless day of all and it has the highest likelihood of a mislynch, but this persistent questioning and bringing up of ZFR "tunneling" seems to me that, besides it ironically* being tunneling on ZFR himself, also feels like a shallow attempt to subconsciously shade him in our minds. It's a gut feeling so far, but I'm so close to just bolding out the words "Vote GH" and putting them on a fresh new line because of them. The Bookwyrm mentions are even better since the only time he ever mentions GH in post 84 is the last bit when he responds to ZFR by saying something along the words of "interesting, I'll look into it." That's it. Nothing I don't see much to fuss about. (Of course it's probable I missed GH bringing up something else about it, but so far it's unclear if that's the case).

I brought it up cuz ZFR has posted several posts about me or mainly about me in the last day alone....so I am trying to figure out if he's just tunneling town or a shading scum.

That aside, if ya wanna vote me then by all means....one should try to vote whom they suspect first and foremost, after all.

Honest question: Is it because I write so much and often add fluff stuff to my game posts?

If so, i'd suggest maybe reading some of them a bit more thoroughly....as I sometimes bring up things i've noticed (to get other player's pov/input in some cases) and ask questions i'd like to see answered.

I near 100% took it as a joke(I still note some such things, though, based on prior games...just in case).

Ohhhhh now I get it....you meant me "hunting" in my first post....I thought you meant me "hunting" for odd/interesting things in other people's first/early posts....which I usually try to do in these games.

And yeah, I often open with a "silly" intro post.....so you're right on that....sorry for not getting what you meant earlier, btw.
